Mainboard temp 118C.

Well yeah, I've used Speccy and HWMonitor both are giving me 118C cleaned my PC very well today and still getting the same mainboard temp, is there anything to worry about? here's a screenshot. http://imgur.com/EzHT2yE

probably a bad sensor if everything is working ok. Does it feel hot anywhere if you run your hand over the board area after powering down?

No, I don't think so, been running this temp for like a week and my PC has never shut off yet by it self.

I would guess that the sensor is faulty and nothing else but you have to determine the risks yourself. If it is running hot it would probably lead to premature failure of one or more components.

Also one question, since today I've been playing Dota 2 and my GPU temp rises up to 75C and my CPU is 40C and it never did this before, any idea?

Those temps are well within spec. Could be the ambient is higher or maybe airflow has changed slightly in the case (dust, loose cable blocking a specific path etc.). Again not something I would worry about if you have not experienced stability issues.

I don't know why, I've opened up my motherboard and nothing seems to be blocking the fans, I've cleaned them again really well, and still seem to be getting really high temps, I've been playing Dota 2 and that isn't a kind of game that rises your GPU temp to like 70C but for me it does for some reason, never did this but started since yesterday, any idea? 🙁 I use to get 35C for Dota 2 and now 70C. Funny thing is, I alt-tab and my temps are back to 35C while game running, when I'm actually playing they go up to 70-75C. Never did this before.
