Major difference between ftw and sc?

Hello, Im looking at both the EVGA GTX 950 FTW and SC edition. I know the FTW has a higher clockspeed compared to the SC, but is there a huge difference in performance?

No, it's not a big difference in performance. You can also overclock SC to match ftw.

You need to check it out closely, because EVGA usually uses reference components on their SC cards and reserves the custom upgraded board components for their FTW, Classified, and Kingpin cards. So it's possible the board design and components differ. It's not a major concern, but custom, upgraded components would be more desirable.

The ACX 2.0 and the 2.0+ FTW versions have a slightly different power phase. The ACX 2.0 is 4+2, with the FTW having the slightly better components, and the ACX 2.0+ is 6+2, again, with the FTW having the slightly better components.

For air cooling, make sure you get one of the ACX 2.0+ cards. The VRM and memory cooling is much better.
