Most games aren't taking advantage of more than 4 cores, so unless you're planning on one box streaming or running a lot of background tasks while gaming I'd consider something like this:

I had 16GB in the mix but switched it when I was trying to fit display, keyboard, and mouse in the budget. Yes, I agree 16GB is the way to go now!

Change the PSU as the GQ version's aren't exactly good. The good quality units from EVGA are the B2, G2,G3,P2,PS & T2 models.
