Hi i'm going to make a PC and i was wondering what components i should get. My budget for the PC in about £650 limit as i need a monitor too. The most i would be doing on the PC is hosting a Minecraft server, playing Mincecarft on the highest settings, recording it with Fraps and using Skype. Help please!

Sorry if this is in the wrong category I'm new to these forums!

I was thinking of something like this:

You have got quite a good selection, though i'd focus less on the RAM amount, you used the double 8 gigabytes.
If you are a gamer you will definately NOT need this big amount of RAM, usual games take 1-4 gigabytes.
I prefer choosing 8 instead of 16 in total, it would only cost more money.
And also, you do not necessarily need Solid State HardDrives, they're just there for extra speed. (waste of money if you have a low-medium budget)
For the rest, everything is perfect.

Okay thank you for your help! I picked the RAM because i will be hosting a server, playing a game, Skype and recording all at the same time so i thought it might help with multitasking them things. And the SSD, allot of people say that using recording software is faster and better on your PC when you use an SSD.

Okay, if you're hosting a server, try restarting the server each 6 hours so that it won't take a big amount of your RAM.
For the rest, that's okay.

I'd choose the 670 ecause it has more performance:

Will be great for high settings!
And what is your budget exactly?
Just curious.

Well i will need a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor. So i want to stay bellow £800 and i just added up the amazon stuff and it went up to £830 so i will have to cut down on some stuff like the RAM, i will be willing to go up to £900 if its worth it. I looked at some of the reviews of the case and people are saying its a bit small being a medium, do you think i should go large? Thanks

I have never made my own pc, neither put one together.
I don't know if you need a bigger case, i am not the one you should ask, however, i can give you advice on peripherals if you want.

It wouldn't hurt to go for a bigger case! Thanks for you help.
