Hi There,

I am little bit familiar with installing windows and hardware... I am not a nerd and I have little knowledge about building a new system but I am going to try it this time =)

So, my processor would be either AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 (FD6300WMHKBOX) Processor (7777INR) or AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 8320 8 Core Piledriver Processor (10000INR) . I am strict on budget... but I do not want to put money where it I will loose some thing so I want best suggestions possible.

My motherboard can be - Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT Motherboard (3000INR) MSI 760GM-P21 (FX) Motherboard (3000INR) Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 Motherboard(3000INR) ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard (3500INR) ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard (4800INR) MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard (5200INR) ASUS M5A97 LE Motherboard (5700INR)

I am going to buy Corsair RAM 4 GB which costs me approx 3000 INR. I will expand my RAM later.

Then about GPU - Forsa NVIDIA GT610 2 GB DDR3 (3200INR) ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3 (2945 INR) Asus AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB DDR3 (2000INR)

PLease Please help me solve this. I am totally confused about everything. I dont have a big budget. I wish to overclock in future. I am a casual gamer. Not a hardcore gamer but I am work savvy person ... I use 2-3 softwares at a time and work around 10-15 tabs at a time on my browser. This is website I plan to buy from - flipkart.com. I am from India. I will buy PSU, case and other neccessries myself. I can change my CPU choice if you guys recommend something else but I do want to be future proof.

Awesome build! But I think that processor is overkill. Also, it depends on what softwares you are using. I think that the Fx-6300 would be the better option. But personally, seeing that you are not a gamer, I feel that an i3 or even a higher end Haswell Pentium processor should suffice for your needs. If you could tell us what softwares you would be using, and define your needs more specifically, it would be easier for us. But, I think a higher end Pentium (Sandy Bridge-Haswell) would be enough and it would save you a lot of money. How are prices in India nowadays? :p

Anyway, hope I helped! And Best of Luck!

Good CPU, if planning to OC in the future would get the ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, not the LE (LE poor for OCing), DRAM is fine and GPU fine....next up though would be to upgrade the DRAM as is with 4GB will prob lose a lot of time with the system going back and forth tto the page file with so many tabs open

Well, I only want to go for AMD processors main reason being the price. For eg I am getting AMD FX 8320 in 10000 INR approx but i5 3rd or 4th gen wont cost below 15000 INR.... AMD FX 6300 costs 7700 INR. APUs are also not very heavily priced. In bracket above I have mentioned costs in INR.... indian currency. I am casual gamer not too much into gaming... about softwares I will be using Office... 3-4 excel sheets in one go.... in chrome 4-5 google spreadsheets and then I am web researcher so a lot of tabs and tasks going on.

Thanks for suggestion on Motherboard. Above in brackets I have put price of these Mobos in INR there are some cheaper too. From asus there is ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard (3500INR) then Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PT Motherboard (3000INR) MSI 760GM-P21 (FX) Motherboard (3000INR) Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 Motherboard(3000INR)

Any of these can be good.. I will be overclocking in future for sure. I wont cross fire though. I will expand RAM =)

There are about 3-4 graphic cards I have listed... which one do you think will be best pick? I will not be playing to much games around

Lol is it the best of these? Really? I thought you would say it is worst because it's only 1GB and is lowest priced. I am getting it around 2000 INR and Forsa NVIDIA GT610 2 GB DDR3 costs 3200INR.....ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 Synergy Edition 2 GB DDR3 costs 2945INR but I really have no knowledge about these. If Asus AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB DDR3 would do good I would go for it. Confirm once?

For gaming, you should get this instead:

Gpu:

I have chosen these parts because they will run most games on medium 1080p. When buying a gaming pc, always put gpu as top priority. You were going to buy a gt g10 or a 5450, these are terrible for gaming when compared to a gtx 650, which is a decent card. The six core processor is more than enough and the motherboard is also very good.

Ah. That GPU is very expensive for me. I cant go more then 3500INR I guess. I am casual gamer not hardcore one....and then I need something work intensive too. Anything under 3500INR? From flipkart.com

And how much difference does 8 core processor show in practical life?

Yes, it is more expensive but remember that i chose a cheaper cpu so it is technically equal.

In practical, life there would be hardly in difference whatsoever.

(Im guessing your budget is around 20000INR ?)

Also you cant run any games on a 5450/610.

In all honesty, no. Because if you want to ejoy your experience as a casual gamer, you are going to need atleast a gtx 650 or a 7750/7770. Either save up, go with an even cheaper cpu, or get the other parts cheaper, such as the case and hard drive.

Can I save money here?
