BitDefender, free or paid, is an always on antivirus.
Malwarebytes is an anti-malware, on demand type of thing. Not running all the time, scan when needed.

I have both installed.

Even if you are running PAID versions of both which have real time protection they are compatible .

I can't get Bitdefender to install, and Bit Defender support just told me after nearly an hour of trying that it can't be used with the PAID version of Malware bytes.

I told them to jump right straight in the Black Sea with that.
