Just attempting to understand the masses of logs in my Event Viewer on a new pc build as its my first build, I understand most of them mean nothing, I just want to make sure this is working correctly as it seems to be the same 10-15 codes coming through just a bunch of them. I'm not sure really how to share the logs though so if anyone could be willing for some insight please.

are you having any problems with the PC?

events can mostly be ignored unless they actually affecting your pc
If I'm honest theres just small hitches and stuff, not really sure to be 100% truthful it may be placebo from seeing them thats mostly why im trying to get outside opinion, and to get build fully optimized and know what to worry about and what to let go.

is this windows 11?

Applocker? i will look into what that is

it appears to be something to do with defender

its just a warning saying the dll might have been prevented from running if the policy was running.
yes sir windows 11
those iw as less concerned about, as there warnings, though it would be nice to know, there are also alot of things to do with "bonjour" in code integrity and there is some other things with WMI and more that are errors, possibly only able to view on the longer viewer as it seems that other one shoves them out of the 12 hour one. Thank you for checking stuff out

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/w...plication-control/applocker/what-is-applocker

i see some bonjour errors

Do you need Bonjour as it seems to cause this error - https://forum.eset.com/topic/27414-code-intégrity/
if you don't use it, remove it.
i did try to remove bonjour but couldnt find out how as i dont have an actual app for bonjour, would you know anything about the 5858, 2007 and 1 event codes? also i did ready that link about the applocker but not really sure what the issue is or how to prevent it

ignore applocker warnings. they just saying what would happen if it was running

I am not sure what 5858 is, since description changes each error
wish there was a way to search as 12000 records looking for 1 event is painful
oh, so 2007 is just a warning, I was looking in wrong place... they seem to be all windows store.

right click start
choose terminal (admin)
choose the drop down arrow in title bar and pick powershell
copy/paste this command into window:

Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth

and press enter

Then type SFC /scannow

and press enter

Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented

First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files

SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/what-is-dism?view=windows-11

that just checks windows

do you have virtualisation turned on in bios?

,
should i be concerned with what applocker is stopping then?
I am not sure if it is on or not. I attempted to mess with the bios small as possible
I was mainly concerned if any of them were to be something to worry about as any indication something could be messed up in my first custom build and 4k spent would be nerve racking.
the 1 event is literally the code 1 as its some crypto ncrypt thing

what error did you get for the one that didn't work?

Applocker isn't blocking anything. The warning states that a dll was allowed to run but would have been prevented if the applocker policy was enforced. Its not doing anything.

Try updating the chipset drivers - https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am5/x670e

event 1 seems to tie into the tpm. there should be a driver in the chipset package that talks to it. MIght help

are you running it in command prompt?

because I have run that in powershell. it should work.

if you in command prompt, copy this in (spacing is important)
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
and press enter

its the same command

Chipset is just a driver update but it would help if the BIOS is newer.

Updating BIOS could help.
I can't guarantee it won't brick it BUT the process is much better now, if you look on page 94 you even have a way to recover from it if it did happen. Asus Crash Free BIOS.
Update instructions on page 93
