Mark/Dent under surface of monitor

I don't know where or how this mark came about, but it is very distracting. Is their a way this can be fixed? Or do i have to live with it now?

if your monitor under warranty you can rma it. just make sure it was not your finger/thumb print from moving the monitor and you pressed to hard drown.
