Mark on new Motherboard

So I picked un a Maximus VII Hero for my switch over to Intel, bought myself a 4790k for it. But upon initial inspection I noticed a sort of oily discolouration on the SupremeFX module. I gave it a fairly light wipe using a good quality napkin with no success. My question is whether to be concerned or not. I shall be setting up the build on either Christmas or Boxing Day. I have attached a picture of the module.

Also, if I do need to RMA or DOA the board, does anyone know what scan.co.uk are like for this?

I would give it a power up test when you put it together - I wouldn't worry about the "mark" on the chip. Try only PSU, CPU one stick of RAM and see if you can get it to post (BIOS setup).
