[SOLVED] MARVO HG8944 RED - Sound works, but can't identify microphone?

When I connect this headset to my Desktop PC, I can listen to music on it, but it doesn't identify the microphone.

I use Windows 7.

1. It works on my old laptop.
2. Yes.

You are sure the microphone jack-plug is plugged in to the correct jack on your desktop PC?

Yup, checked it several times.

Check settings for microphone (input) in Windows sound settings. That's all I can think of.
Sorry can't give more details as I've never used a microphone in my 30-years as a PC user.
