Question Massive FPS drops in NFS Heat

Hi everyone,
As i can see right now, there's multiple threads and articles all across the internet about this.
When i run NFS Heat i get massive FPS drops, it can hit 60, but drops down as low as 10 (i7 3770, 16 GB RAM, RTX 2060 6 GB). The game is unplayable basically.
I tried most solutions i could find, but nothing worked yet. Yes i have an older platform to begin with, but you can see people on youtube running the game with similar configs in steady 55-60 FPS in 1080 p ( i use 1680 x 1050).

Has anyone had this problem and managed to solve it?

Hey there,

What cooler are you running on the CPU? Does the CPU overheat. What temps are you hitting when gaming and these drops occur. You can use MSI Afterburner to check this by using the OSD to show the CPU/GPU usage/temps/fps etc.

My first thought would be your CPU is maxing out. Could also be your CPU is a bit underpowered for the 2060, but not by much.

It's a standard Intel box cooler. The temp. is around 50 deg. C and the load on the CPU during the game is about 45-52%.
Looks pretty normal i guess.
