Hello everyone, I am in desperate need for advice or direction concerning my Pc and its pathetic performance.
My specs are,
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 -
GPU: AMD R9 390
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V DDR4 2133 C15 2x8GB
MBD: Asus Z170-A
Power: EVGA 650w Gold
With a rig like this, On league of legends 1080p high settings I should expect fps at least above 200. But I am currently getting ~50fps with dips down to 20 on the games lowest settings. This is not limited to league, as I tried fortnite and averaged 30fps at 1080p. And at 4k below 10 fps. League is currently the only game I play, because its the only one I find playable. Things I've tried include, rebuilding my pc, switching to high performance mode, updating drivers, reinstalling windows, testing my cpu on hot cpu tester (temps are all low, I have a noctua DH-15). I think the problem maybe my cpu as when using benchmark websites all my components perform well, with exception being my gpu which performs in the 25th percentile and my cpu which performs in the 1rst percentile compared to people which similar pcs. Specifically the lowest thing that seems to be a trend is my single core cpu score, but I don't know what I should do with that information. I look online, and other than temps I don't know what can cause a low single core performance. Please if anyone has any ideas, or can at least point me in a direction that I need to look in.. Help me.
