Mattel canceled plans to release Aristotle, an Internet of Things (IoT) device meant for children, following criticism from privacy advocates. Aristotle was announced in January; the company said its launch was nixed by the CTO, who was hired in July.

God, I didn't even see it the first time. That is terrifying. Maybe it's a metaphor for how IoT kids toys are a terrible, terrible idea.
