Question max clock i can do to a gtx 1070 gigabyte

hey, i was just wondering what the max clock i could do to a gtx 1070? its the gigabyte 2 fan edition card, and i only use it for esports titles.

Hey there,

Unless you're familiar with OC'ing, then prob the best bet is to use MSI Afterburner OC Scanner. It will set and test your GPU at a range of voltages and clocks, and settle on something that gives you the most FPS, for little inpuit involved.

You can go further with vbios change, or manually OC'ing the card. You can manually OC the card in MSI too.

Most of the time for non enthusiast GPU OC'ing, you would be looking in the range of maybe +100 on the core, and maybe +200 or more on the mem. However, these are not simply numbers to dial in. You must test in small increments to ensure the card works okay and doesn't overheat or display artefacts on screen.

It's different for all GPU's, so you have to put a little work in to determine the best set up for your card.
