Hello everybody,

I have a Windows NT Workstation 4 (SP6) used as file
server, and this server has several shared folders (about
40).
Lately my users are experiencing connections problems,
the error message is telling that the maximum number of
connections was reached.
All the shared folders are configured with the maximum
number of connections possible.
The server is a Pentium II 300 with 128 MB of RAM.

How can I solve this problem??
Is there any way to edit the registry and increase the
maximum number of connections??

Thank you for the help.

Marcus.

Is your licensing 'per server' or 'per seat'?

How many licenses do you have?

This is a NT Workstation so this is not a licensing issue. Workstation has a
hard coded limit of 10 concurrent connections so there is no fix or
workaround. This is not designed to do this. You must have NT Server in
order to get more connections.
