max monitors in sli

if you have 2 gtx 780's in sli will you be able to run 8 monitors? or just 2?

Disable sli and you can use 8. You could use splitters but that can get troublesome/expensive trying to find ones that split the signal instead of just duplicating. You also need to pay attention to resolution limits. What are you doing with these 8 monitors?

Games need sli to use both so you could just keep enabling/disabling to use 4 while gaming and 8 while not. If you have integrated graphics, then you can add more monitors on there which will act as accessory monitors.
