Max usb cable length for mouse

I read that the max length for a usb cable for low power devices like a mouse/keyboard is 9ft 10 inches? Would this not work for a mouse/keyboard?

That looks like a USB printer cable. You could just use wireless

Hard to say. Depends on the quality of the cable and the stability of your USB ports. Sometimes 5m+ will work (with repeater even more), sometimes not even 1.5m will work.
