maximus VI Hero and 4770K lag

Hi I built my computer and found that when I play any games my CPU usage would be very high. In task manager it said that proccesor is running at .80 GHz, and after some searchingi found that I need to update bios. When I did there is a wiered lag (but previous issue is solved)
What happens exactly is when I turn it on, there is a stutter in the entering animation of windows, and when I play nfs most wanted it is notocibly slower. In AC4 however it is extremely slow, it looks like 10ish frames per second.

Any things that I should try to do?

Did you set up the BIOS and memory timings and speed after the BIOS upgrade?

I've found that if you are experiencing weirdness following a BIOS update, reset the CMOS and configure the BIOS from scratch. This usually fixes the problem.

Setting up BIOS and memory and what ever else needs to be set up is a "must do" after a BIOS update.

How do you do that?

I mean the cmos, bios, and memory

Tap the delete key to get into BIOS when comp starts booting. Get your MB manual and read it. If you do not have one you can download it from the manufacturer's MB web site.

The DRAM will be set to mobo defaults, so if your sticks are 1600 or better go into the BIOS and enable XMP and select proper DRAM freq (spec)
