I have 2 crucial ballistix DDR4 memories. When I install any of the memories in some of the 2 slot near the cpu cooler I get error 55. I can boot if I install both memories on the other 2 slots. What could be the problem ?

People have been having trouble with the metal of the screws on the cooler shorting on the motherboard, also being over tight. Others with that same board, getting that same code

Did you test your Dimms are working OK?
If not, Run HCI Memtest instead or the Google Stress App test in Linux. That will eliminate that possibility.
Go into Bios and set priority to boot from USB, test for 8GB.
Dimms should be tested in slots A2 and B2 as per manual section:1.2.4
Also make sure the Dimms are seated correctly, especially offside to the clip.
Also make sure u are running on updated Bios version.

If nothing works out well, go for RMA your board and also talk with Crucial regarding the issue and if same issue persists on new board then replace with the new Crucial KIT, i hope you are using the Kit in current set-up.
