I have an error message about a allegedly non-working hard drive. May I upload a screenshot and seek answers to my problem? It is easier to view the screenshot than have me over-explain the issue.

absolutely. screenshots help a ton. gives us some visual info to help figure out what may be happening.


more information is needed though. what is happening? what are you trying to do in cmd prompt? what are the system specs? does the drive show up in BIOS? some detail will help narrow down issues a bit more.

Is this system running Windows 7? I recommend checking the health of the hard drives. Since you cannot boot into Windows, you can use the utility SeaTools Bootable from a USB flash drive. You can download it from here:

I suspect one of your hard drives may be failing.
