Is a lint-free cloth the same thing as a microfiber cloth?

I wanna clean my monitor but am unsure which one to go for. Not sure if they're the same thing or similar, and if one is better than the other.

Thanks.

Microfiber is practically guaranteed to be soft enough to be scratch free, lint free is only guaranteed to not leave behind lint, it could be too rough and leave micro scratches or it might be ok.
In other words sandpaper is lint-free but you wouldn't use it on a monitor, paper towels are lint free but they contain wood fibers and those can scratch a monitor, and so on.
