what do you guys suggest?

also a case with 300-350w power supply not more than $60

its for small office use and web surfing, no gaming at all and no overclocking

nForce2 w/IGP ( Asus,MSI , I have a Soltek )
But for $60 the power supply you'll get with a case
wont be very good
Shell out a few more bucks
should think of buying separate
Maxtop-coolcase (has 2-92mm fans)$28
Fortron/Source 350w $44

Enlight makes nice cases with power supplies that sell for around $60.

thank you guys for your inputs

for the motherboard i think the abit NF7-M is the one we liked, but unfortunately it does not support serial ata drive and nor the other models.

for the case, the enlight model EN-4102C is suitable one, good price with enough power supply 300w.

for hard drive the western digital wd400JB is fair enough, but not sure about the noise and reliabilty.

ram would be pc2700 2x256, simpletech RB2700DDR/256, there is no twin module, so i will buy 2 modules to make them work dual channel, any observation for doing so?

monitor would be CTX VL700, 17' shadow mask, any comments? i know there are better monitors but i am trying to keep the budget as low as possible and would offer himm the NEC 771 and 791 which are almost double the ctx price and he decides which one.

The <A HREF="http://www.asrockamerica.com/Products/K7S41GX.htm" target="_new">Asrock k7s41gx</A> should be a good option since it is for office style stuff...
