Hello, i am a bit lost in motherboards and i would like to get some help. Here are my specs:

MB: Asus Prime B760m D4
CPU: i7-14700kf,
RAM: Corsair Vengance 32GB 3200mhz CL16 XMP1 DDR4
Cooler: Arctic Liquid Cooler III 240mm

I managed to undervolt CPU, now it only has 221W in peak power, 5,5Ghz on all P-cores and temps are around 92-94° while rendering, i made several Cinebench23 test and score is between 35560-35820 points. No crashes, BSOD or errors even in games or rendering in Archicad. Also tested C24 and 3Dmark benchmarks.

I would like to upgrade MB, i am thinking about same Asus Prime B760M but with DDR5 + Corsair Vengance 32GB DDR5 7200mhz CL34, because i know how to undervolt it.

OR

Should i get Asus TUF Z790 DDR5 or other Z790 motherboard? is there any difference between B760 and Z790 except better VRM cooling and ports like USB-C? I dont use anything fancy on PC, just one USB3, 2xM2 slorts for storage and that pretty much all, but i would like to have WIFI and Bluetooth, because sometimes i am moving my PC to the room without cable and my keyboard is not working well on 2.4Ghz dongle.

Is there any performance gain with Z90 aver B760 board if i am not intrested in overclocking?

Thank you very much for answers.

What is your objective?
I doubt that any of your proposed upgrades would buy you anything significant, excepting a thinner wallet.

Real app performance is similar with DDR4 vs. DDR5.
DDR5 ram is faster, but that is offset by higher latencies.
Intel, unlike ryzen does not depend much on fast ram for performance.

Quoting a intel engineer:
"you are leaving performance on the table if you do not touch 100c."
You might revisit the undervolting settings.

As to wifi, usb wifi dongles are not very strong.
Look for an add in wifi adapter card with a good sized antenna.
