I received my first mechanical KB today - an IKBC CD108.
First impressions are it is quite heavy and is hard to shift around on the desk because of rubber feet. Maybe I will cover these up to help slide it around for when I need space. Feel of the black switches is similar to membrane but a bit heavier. Overall I think I need to get used to it.
I have a few questions:
1 - This keyboard has N key mode and 6 key mode. What is the advantage/disadvantage of switching to 6 key mode when N key is better?
2 - I cannot get the mute, volume keys and calculator keys to work. I tried to update drivers but to no avail. I am trying to reach the company for help, but no response so far. Would this be a common problem? What can I do to fix it?
