In preparing to build my first PC from scratch, I really wanted to see if it was possible to get metal keycaps for a keyboard.

Specifically, I want full brass, brass plated or at least brass colored.
I don't think doing the entire keyboard is necessary, I mainly want to replace WASD, the spacebar as well as enter and the two shift keys.
The reasoning behind this is of course, the look but also the feel, I think the cool feeling of metal keycaps would feel nice.

I have heard that metal keycaps can screw up actuation forces and such, and aside from that, I imagine oxidation would be a huge problem to look out for.
Is this even a worth while idea?

If you want to try them, no issues with you trying them, do a web search and you will find several models. WASD keys for sure not sure I recall seeing a spacebar. Yes they will change the feel of the keyboard at those keys. I would use something else with a different texture, rubber ones maybe.

My favorite WASD key caps are the ones that Corsiar makes with a wave texture and angled...

This is what they look like in my keyboard with the Drop Skylight Valiant set.
