Mechnical Keyboard Switches

Quick question and I know this may sound stupid but I've got the HyperX Alloy FPS mechanical keyboard (with cherry mx blue switches) and I was wondering if a key is pressed for a long time as in the keyboard being turned upside down all night and the switches being pressed if it may harm the switch at all (the spring, etc...)

no, in theory if you left it a number of years, the spring would compress permanently.
