Mech Warrior 2 was fun for its time. Titanfall 2 is a whole lot of fun with mechs and has the FPS aspect outside the mech as well. In fact, Titanfall 2 has become one of my favorite games.

I don't know about the Titanium Edition, but I have MW2 + GBL running great in DOSBox. But they are the original versions.

Unfortunately, I had gotten rid of it a few years back, before I was aware of DOSBox. I wonder if GOG has it available (they helped me get my old X-Wing/TIE Fighter fix...).

I've been watching and although it is on their "wishlist" with a lot of votes, there is no Mechwarrior games on GoG.

I watched the trailer without sound, so I didn't catch them naming the 'Mech...but I started wondering last night if it was a Shadow Hawk or not (I originally thought maybe a Hunchback, but the profile just wasn't right...& that Raven took way too many AC shots for that cannon to be an AC/20). Not too surprising, though, for it to show up, as the old Technical Readout: 3025 (& its newer replacement, Technical Readout 3039) still lists the Shadow Hawk as being built by the Free Worlds League & Magistracy of Canopus.

Good catch on the Raven, BTW...although a) it was a gameplay trailer, so they might have just wanted to showcase it, & b) although the RVN-1X model didn't come out until 3024, that still lets it show up for 3SW (running from 2866 to 3025).

They did say it was an "unidentified" mech and the Capellans were using the Raven in an advanced prototype role prior to release as you mentioned. Additionally, the Shadow Hawk wouldn't be carrying an AC/20 but more likely a 10 instead. The Raven could easily absorb a few hits from that prior to getting cored out and wrecked.
