Media computer build

Hello,doing my first build i want a media computer to hook up to my tv any suggestions on motherboard, cpu, memory, video card? i am not looking to spend tons of money any suggestions?

miller you can hook any new pc to a tv becasue almost all graphics cards now come with hdmi out

tell us what you want wether it is low power draw or whatever your looking for

im not to picky on the power draw i will be using it with the hdmi connection. we tend to watch a lot of movies on netflix and tend to download movies and i am just going to get a blue-ray drive. i am going to get a hd tv card for my cable as well.

Here's a nice HTPC I'm building my wife. It clocked in with shipping at little over $1000. I love the Lian Li Aluminum chassis and the Antec PSU is modular for a cleaner build. I also went with the Core i5-2400S because it has a lower TDP. (65w compared to others that are 95w).
