Media test failure then no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key

Hi, for a while now ive been having tbis problem, my toshiba satellite L305-S5946 keeps saying media test failure then no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key, ive change my hard drive and my ram and still have this problen, can anyone help me please?

when did you change the hard drive? was it better for a while after you changed it? might be failing again if its been a while.

try replacing your cmos battery. take the old one out for 15 min before you install the new one. this 15 min wait will reset your bios to factory settings.

also, it could be a loose connection to the motherboard or a problem with the board itself. its difficult to determine this since you'd most likely have to disassemble the machine.

It didnt work after i installed the new hard drive and i tried another thatbwas proven to work but nothing changed still

did you try fresh installing windows on either hard drive?
