Dear community,

I am looking to upgrade my GFX card since, 1; my GTX 570 is old, 2; my GTX 570 is dead.

Having said this according to my research, needs and budget my best fit for now seems to be the Gigabyte 1050 Ti Windforce Oc.

I am having trouble however finding any information regarding compatibility with my motherboard, it being a Medion H67H2-EM.

Also other brands 1050 Ti would be acceptable it just seems to me that the brand does not influence the compatibility of the card (please correct me if I am wrong).

I thank all of you in advance for the collaboration.

You are right considering a new card as yours shows signs of reaching the end of it's life.

If you know of a case that another same board accepted a 1050 ti then you have higher chances. You should always upgrade BIOS to the latest to have the highest chance of succeeding. But, there is always the possibility of you being unlucky and the card won't work.

If you don't mind buying a GPU and trying, then go for it.

Thank you for the reply Dotas! In this case I have an extra question.

Currently this is my setup;

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600
GPU: Nvidia GTX 570
SSD: Crucial MX300 525GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB
USB: WD Elements 25A1 2TB
RAM: Nanya M2F4G64CB8HB5N-CG 2x4GB
MBD: Medion H67H2-EM

I need to get a new GFX card according to the information I had because the symptoms are: white horizontal stripes stretching across screen and random restarts with error code 43 showing up in Device Manager for my GTX570.

So I turned to www.userbenchmark.com to get my head around the compatibility issue and I found out that another user tested his setup there and his rig was as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti
SSD: Crucial MX300 275GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB
RAM: Nanya M2F4G64CB8HB5N-CG 4x4GB
MBD: Medion H67H2-EM

As you can see almost all the same. This gave me high hopes to perform an upgrade of my GPU. Could it be a different scenario though between an MSI 1050 Ti or a Gigabyte 1050 Ti for example since this is not specified in the list?
And if you are correct and Medion is a pain in the ass and won't recognize the new graphics card mentioned in my first post do you have any advice as to witch motherboard I could buy on which all my components would keep working?
