i did install a new hard drive but seems that the power connector (sata power connector) from the power supply wasnt connected well in the hard drive so when i turned on the pc it turned off instantly and i found that about two pins of the cable melted or where burned. the question is will this be dangerous in the future ? and can that power connector be replaced with a new working one or is it still working normally after what happened ? Thanks in advance i know its too long :)

Solution
An option you could take is to cut the connector off and tape off each wire so that none of them can make contact with anything. This is pretty ghetto and not the best idea, but. If needs must...

This is the SATA power from the PSU to the drive?
Unless this is a modular PSU with removable cables....buy a new PSU.

my psu is xfx ts550 with built in wires , it has two sata power connectors coming from it to be connected to the hard drive, one is working fine and the other some pins of it melted as i tried to install a second hard drive , understand me :) ?

Yes, I understand.
1 is unmelted, 1 is melted.

If you wish to use that second connector, buy a new PSU.

The power connector for a SSD is the same as for the HDD.

Can you still use it? You're the only one that can see the extent of the melting.
Might there be a short across two pins? Only you can tell.

this is how it looks like now i dont really want to test it as im afraid to ruin something else

I wouldn't trust it, I'd also advise getting a new PSU really. It would be really unpredictable using that connector and may end up melting more or causing damage to anything it's connected to.

but if i didnt use that melted connector i would be on the safe side ? and also can i replace that melted connector ?

It may be safe to still use the PSU but not that connector, I wouldn't advise it though. As your PSU is unfortunately not a modular or semi-modular design, you wouldn't be able to replace the connector/cable. You could get a Sata power splitter if you wanted and connect that to the non melted one and then you would be able to run 2 hard drives possibly, but it's not the best way to run multiple hard drives..

i really cant afford a new PSU right now so i will stick with the working connector and try to use external HD, and i want to ask does my PSU only has 2 SATA power connectors ? and Thank you very much for helping

melted plastic = no more isolations for wires carrying power and ground to touch,
it melted because of such a situation, I would not use it, I would replace the power supply

so even if i didnt use that bad connector i still would need to change the PSU ?

yes because the pins of ground and power could be touching, and as soon as you apply power will start melting plastic again and causing shorts and could cause psu to "die" and it then could take out other parts of your system out as well.... cascading failure my friend. or nothing will happen :)

you choice...

till now no plastic melting since the accident :) hope it works fine untill i buy a new one

if i can make sure that the connector isnt in contact with anything , then will it be safe using the PSU and not
changing it ?

You got +1 from me;
Why spend money when you can do what this guy suggested?
Also, you can buy 1 molex on 2 SATA if you ever need more SATA cables :)
