Hi guys, I currently have a motherboard Gigabyte X58A-UD3R, with 3x2GB Kingston DDR3-1600 and doing great.

I'm planning to upgrade my ram to a total of 12GB but I don't know if these will be compatible with my mobo. Any specific ram recommended among the list? Any advice? Thanks in advance!

Note: I have CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ installed. http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/hyper-212-plus/

Here is my list to consider buying:

1. XMS3 - 4GB DDR3 Memory Module (CMX4GX3M1A1600C9) - http://www.corsair.com/en/cmx4gx3m1a1600c9

2. Corsair Memory - 4GB DDR3 Memory (CMV4GX3M1A1333C9) - http://www.corsair.com/en/cmv4gx3m1a1333c9

3. G.SKill RipJaws 4GB DDR3 1600 CL9 (F3-1066CL9S-4GBRL)

4. KINGSTON 4GB DDR3 PC1333 (KVR13N9S8/4) - http://pcx.com.ph/components/memory/kingston-4gb-ddr3-pc1333-kvr13n9s8-4.html

5. KINGSTON HYPERX BLU 4GB 1600MHZ (KHX1600C9D3B1/4G) - http://pcx.com.ph/components/memory/kingston-hyperx-blu-4gb-1600mhz-khx1600c9d3b1-4g.html

For that price you're probably only going to be able to add about 4MB of RAM unless you're buying used RAM. I can't seem to find anything compatible at any of the online Philippine retailers. Is there anyplace in particular you can purchase from like Amazon or another vendor likely to have a bigger selection or are you pretty much stuck with local shops and online retailers like PC Express and PC Worx?

What you probably want to do is either stay away from the 4GB modules and add 2GB modules to the last three remaining slots for a total of 12GB in triple channel mode, or, remove the three 2GB modules and begin adding up to four 4gb modules, as you can afford to, for a total of 16GB in dual channel.

Modules for your board can be of...

So they are all compatible with my mobo? I asked the shop yesterday but told me that these may have compatibility issues (like ram not being detected, single/dual sided rams, etc.) and they don't allow a refund in case I buy then return it. They also told me my mobo is 'dead,' because new rams are more compatible with new mobos as well. 🙁

I live in the Philippines. And this my old ram's PN: 99P5471-002.A00LF but they are nowhere to be found anymore.

Modules for your board can be of different speeds, but all modules need to be of the same speed, timings and voltage in order to function properly. DDR3 1600mhz IS listed as a supported speed if you look at the memory support document, regardless that the motherboard initial specs don't list it.

I'd recommend something that is DDR3 1600mhz, CAS 9 latency and 1.5v.

I mean, $50-60 budget per stick, sorry for the confusion. I'll try to look for other stores as well since they are near my place. I'm not fond of buying anything online because I had encountered some item defects before and couldn't get a refund. :)

There is this store that agrees to test their modules on my cpu without having to buy them first. I think I will give it a try when I get home from a short vacation, probably next week. Will give you a feedback when I get the chance. Thank you. :)
