Memory and motherboard compatibility

hey all,

Is this ram compatible with this motherboard?

RAM: Corsair - Vengeance 4-Pack 4GB DDR3 DIMM Desktop Memory Kit model:CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9

Mobo:ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

I installed everything but the red light for the ram lit up. the ram is ddr3 so I don't know why it wouldn't be compatible.

Any help is appreciated.

try hitting the memok button on the motherboard. i dont know if this has ever worked before, but its what the book says its there for.
