Memory choices for my new build!

Guys.

How would the Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX be? It seems to be the best for the buckie$. For about, ehh, say $45-$50, you get a *Wusy Approved* cooler, that, as i have jsut learned, is like a regular stock cooler on steroids, cooling the parts around it too. They also say the new VX is insanely easy to install!!

Many magazines have used it, and it is on the iceberg tip of my pricerange. The noctua seems awesome, but at $65, it just seems too much for a n00b to handle.

Ive basically asked a billion times, but how does that one look?


It looks as though ive met my CPU cooling soulmate.

So, this doesnt come with a fan? So you jsut buya 120 mm fan and put it on?

Final question.

Found some corsair 800mhz CAS4 ram for $129 after $50 rebate at ZZF.

Sound good? Or rebate not worht it?

Rebates are a royal pain in the A$$. Get the cheaper stuff, then rock and roll. Don't even need CL4....CL5 won't make much performance difference.

lolz, uhm, oh yeah, do you think that places like newegg will have the e4400 on the 22nd?

and how do you think the first versions of it will fair? its basically an e4300 with +1 multi, so the first ones should oc fine, right?

lol, u remember that class i was in? well we just started building a ~$300 computer...im just gonna build that for my parents or something...lol

-sempron 3000+ am2
-1 gig kingston ddr2 667mhz (decent ram^^)
-some mobo.
-antec basiq 350 watt psu
-nice case with one 120mm fan, spots for others, and side air duct
-some dvd reader^^
-possibly a refurbished hard drive, mabye not.

hahaha, mabye games liek warcraft 3 will stya above 30 fps, unlike on my pentium 3! and it can hold me over to my new compy in 2 weeks.
