Memory compatibility problem

I am thinking of buying this memory:

with this cpu:

and this mobo:

however in the memory specifications it says that the memory is compatible with LGA1155/LGA1156 and AMD AM3/Llano/AM3+ platforms. My cpu is a lga 1550 socket so would this mean that it is not compatible?

That's older memory but it will work.

Yes, it will indeed work.

It's slower than the "standard" speed, but its fine for most purposes.

Can I ask what you're going to do with this computer? Cause you've got a very powerful processor, a board that will support... a lot of PCI devices (but only 1 video card), and then some slow(ish) ram

Your CPU is rated at 1600 sticks, wouldn't go lower, in fact I normally recommend 1866 for rigs like this. 1066 is good for rigs 2-3 or more years old, it will run, but you won't be happy with it
