Question Memory Compatibility

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What is driving the belief that Memory/RAM is the reason for the occasional BSODs?

Compatibility:

The guiding document is the motherboard's User Guide/Manual.

Supported memory and supported memory configurations are provided within the manual. However, most manuals also refer back to the applicable manufacturer's website for more updated information via the QVL (Qualified Vendor's List).

Overall, memory should be installed via matched kits intended for dual channel use.

Details matter.

For example, some motherboards require that the first physically installed RAM be installed in a specific slot.

Hi, Yes. I updated my post.
Ok. I had four 4GB sticks (total 16GB) of the G.Skill Ripjaws. I replaced Channel B with two 8GB sticks of the Kingston making the total 24GB.
After the upgrade I started getting a BSOD. Sometimes after a few hours, sometimes longer. Before the memory upgrade I never got a BSOD. I just reverted back to the original four sticks of G.Skill and No BSOD. Both are compatible to the MB but maybe not with one another. Can I manually adjust them to work together? Thanks
