Question memory ddr4 3000 stuck at 2400mhz

Hi everybody,
just assembled my new pc. Everything works fine except that the RAM doesn't work at the declared frequncy of 3000mhz, but - as I can see in BIOS - it runs at 2400mhz.

This is my setup:
  • Asus Prime X470-PRO [90MB0XG0-M0EAY0]
  • Cpu AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Box AM4 (4,350GHz) YD270XBGAFBOX
  • Ram DIMM DDR4 32GB Kingston 3000 C15 Hyp K2 [HX430C15PB3K2/32]
  • nVidia Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 8GB Gaming OC bianco [GV-N2080GAMINGOC WHITE-8GC]
As far as I could find out on the internet my motherboard and cpu model should be compatible with the memory I purchased.
I updated the BIOS to the latest version but nothing changed. Can anyone give me a clue? Could it be a problem of the memory or of the motherboard as well?
should I contact the reseller to ask for the substitution?
