I have Asus P8B75-M LX PLUS mobo with Intel Core i7-3770 SR0PK Quad Core 3.4GHz 8MB Cache Socket LGA 1155 Desktop CPU that i have bough used. The memory in slot 1 will not allow to boot. If i remove memory from slot 1 and just use slot 2, I can boot into windows. I have swapped memory in slot 2 and both are fine. But when using slot 1 by its self or when memory is in slot 2 along with 1 does not work. BIOS is up to date and cannot go any further. The memory sticks are 8GB(2x4GB) 1600MHz.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Yeah th BIOS is up to date and the pins are fine. I forget to mention that i had an I3 cpu and replaced it with the I7 mentioned above. When i first encountered this issue, of course i put the I3 back in and had the same issue and started removing hardware and that's when i noticed slot 1 not working.
