Question Memory Management BSOD when I alt tab from games

Hello I wanted to make this thread to pretty much beg for help, I am having this issue with a BSOD memory management for months and no matter what I try i cant find the problem.

I recently bought and installed new mother board and ram stricks before this bsod happened. here is the list of what i have tried:

1. Memtest 86 and windows memory diagnostic tool they both said ram sticks were fine

2. Ran sfc scannow chckdsk both said they found no issues also ran crysal disk and hard disk sentinel and found no issues. (C drive is 85 percent health)

3, Still getting the BSOD i nuked and did a system resotore in the hopes of getting it fixed, no luck

4, I had my old ram sticks so i replaced the new ones i just bought with the old ones and it worked fine for a couple of days but the bsod came back

5. Sometimes when i restart my pc i get the black screen and the select boot device issue, usually a restart or 2 fixes this issue but i have no idea if its related.

6. re installed GPU drivers to no avail. Also for some reason after my last memory management crash sfc scannow is not helping it indicates>
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

7. I usually get this crash when i am gaming, and specially if i am gaming and decide to alt tab from a game.

What's the exact model number and brand of your PSU/Power supply unit ? Always provide proper PC specs, instead of posting DXDIAG results.

Anyways, are you using a FRESH copy of Windows 10 OS ? Because it looks like some system files might be corrupt. Also, is the OS fully updated and patched ?

Usually running the sfc/scannow command would automatically fix corrupted system files, if there are any to begin with, but the system can throw the Windows Resource Protection error when this particular file is NOT in the DLL cache, and/or it got corrupted.

Assuming if the cached file that is used/required to replace the corrupted file is corrupt on its own. So if you use the sfc/scannow command right now, it will send error 'Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them'.

Does the sfc/scannow command throw the same error in Windows SAFE MODE as well ?

Also scan your hard drive for corruption. Run a CHKDSK scan. Or, you could also use the
DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) utility to repair the Windows image.

answering your questions my PSU is EVGA BRONGZE 600 BR and apologies for the dxdiag how do i send you proper pc specs?

I did a reset however i did not make a fresh install of Windows. and yes the OS is fully patched and updated.

Sfc scannow is also throwing the same error in safe mode.

In regards to Chkdsk scan i did with both c and d and didnt have any issue.

Regarding DISM this is were it gets funny. DISM goes all the way to 100 and says that everything has been fixed or has been corrected (i dont remmeber exactly what it said but it went on the lines that everything went ok)

however i do an sfc scannow inmediately after that and to my suprise i get the same error.

I was wondering if this is maybe related to my C drive? its 6 years old and in 85 percent health but idk if that would be an issue it would explain why my files are bieng corrupted (faulty ssd drive) and also explain why sometimes i get the select proper boot device when i start my pc)

I'm not fully sure but the drive health is indeed less. This could be the culprit in your case. Maybe try installing Windows OS and games on a different HDD or SSD ?
ok understood tommorow i am buying a new ssd so i would do fresh install of windows as well as see if that fixes the issue

I just pray it aint the new motherboard being faulty, could this be suspect?

Well im back definitely the new ssd works like a charm and the bsod seems to be over after a couple days of testing.

However here is another issue i found.

I decided to put my hdd back and reinstall games.

However i see that when i play games it will freeze for some seconds and then play again. or sometimes i will play (re4 remake) for example and the music will just dissapear in the middle of fighting just for it to come back. this did not happen at all when i was just playing on my ssd.

Also i notice that when the game freezes or music stops playing and if i attempt to check files inside the D drive (HDD drive) it will freeze and not respond for 15 to 10 seconds, but once it opens the files i can literally hear the music go back in the game or the game unfreeze at the same time, it is as if the hdd freezes or becomes unresponsive for a couple of seconds. Any idea how can i fix this? (already changed sata cables didnt work, i also did sea gates memory check and it says my hdd is fine)

It could be your HDD failing after usage, and the drive health is also low. The freeze and the stutters in the game might be due to the HDD. Install some of the games on the new SSD if there is enough space, and retest the performance.
