Hi
I'm planning to buy a Ryzen 9 3900X with an Aourus X570 Elite motherboard and i have 2 x 32GB of memory modules Team Group Elite DDR4 3200MHZ ( TED432G3200C2201 )
The QVL listed this model as supported by Vermeer CPUs but it's not on supported list for Matisse CPUs
Could this ram model work fine with the Ryzen 9 3900X or shall i change to something listed under QVL for that particular CPU ??
Please help
Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!

If the RAM kit is not on the QVL it doesn't mean it won't work. There are far too many kits for your motherboard manufacturer to test so naturally they'll leave out some and in turn, the testing, to you.

My kit of 4x 8GB Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16 kit wasn't on the QVL list for my board (I use a 3900X and ROG Strix B550-F) nor was it on the G.Skill configurator. Yet the memory works perfectly fine and even allows me to tune timings and boost the frequency if I really want to.

If you already have the RAM kit, just try it out and see if it works when XMP is on. No harm in doing that. If it doesn't, just find a 3600 CL16 kit on the QVL and use your RAM at stock (XMP off) speeds until the new RAM kit arrives. Avoid Corsair Vengeance LPX for Ryzen.

What makes me confused that TED432G3200C2201 is listed under QVL for Vermeer for this motherboard but not listed under Matisse so why they listed it only on one cpu genration and not on the other ? maybe before Vermeer is newer and have better and wider compatibility ? ii don't want to loose my ram modules

They probably didn't test it on Matisse. Again, QVL doesn't mean everything. There's a high chance the RAM kit will work, considering the speed of it and the board you're gonna be using.

Your RAM kit is 3200 MHz at CL22... CL22 is a very high latency for 3200. Normally it would be CL16 or even CL14 with B-Die. Doubt your board and/or CPU won't accept these modules.
