Hi guys,
I've never overclocked before and I figured what better way to start than with the i7 920 I'm getting.
I've read loads of guides and everything, and I'm pretty okay with most of the aspects of overclocking, but there's one part I'm not too sure on...

I know your supposed to set the memory multipliert to the lowest possible ratio, then after overclocking increase the ratio bit-by-bit until it's as high as it can stabley go. The problem is, how do I know how high to go? Until I get the blue screen of death? Then what do I do?.

Solution
Get your OC stable with slow mem speeds and then increase mem til not stable -> back off a bit.

use prime95 or something like it to test stability
memtest for just ram testing
