Memory ram compatability

Good day Everyone.
I'm planning on upgrading my ram kingstone 4gb ddr3 (adding another 4gb stick) i would just like to know if its OK to add a different kind of ram for example like G.Skill, hyperX etc.

if the numbers match up & compatible size of ram numbers voltage all match up no issues i do it as long as they match up apart from being diffrent brand most the time they are ll made in the same factory just goes to where ever the comapnies who spec to sell

In short, there are no guarantees when mixing DRAM, even if you get another stick of the same identical model. See my Fiction piece, items 2 and 6

Can also look through the forums, they are full of people trying to mix DRAM from different packages and problem after problem 😉
