Hey guys, on CPU-Z I checked that my computer has Slot #1 and Slot #2, they both are 1024MB which would be 1gb. My question is does that mean I have two 1gb RAM to make 2gb? If so, I'm planning on buying a 2gb RAM to replace them both to get 4gb.
i would check if the one you want is on that list http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5KPLCM/HelpDesk_QVL/ since they only have 1 gig max on it ,seen it could work with 2 gig module so check before you buy .
Thank you! My motherboard is a LGA775 (heard its kind of old) and its a PK5KPL-CM. The ram I'm buying is a Kingston 2gb 240-PIN DDR2 800 (PC2 6400). Would that work?
