I am having problems getting all my memory to show up.
If i run memory remapping disabled, bios reports 2.5 gig out of the 4 that is installed.
memory remapping enabled I get 4 of 4 gig reported in bios but.... Windows 7 rc x64 will not load. It gets to the starting windows screen and that's it.

This is what is reported by sys info:

No... put the blame where it belongs... Asus. After all... I have a non-Asus board and I am having zero issues with Win 7 RC. Oh and by the way, the RC is not exactly the same as the final release product... so if this is truly a Windows issue, it should be fixed in the RTM build. Otherwise, it's an Asus issue.

My OS is Windows 7 professional 64bit, not RC any more....
Also Windows 7 setup cannot be launched while remapping is turned on, i.e. I have turn off remapping to install windows 7..I think is should be ASUS problem..

I was having the pretty same problems of you guys, but with one especially difference, I'm running my Intel Q6600 on a Intel mobo.
I had 2x2gb RAM installed, and I couldn't install Windows 7 x64 Professional, and my BIOS does not have any memory map option. I just removed one of the RAM and everything works fine.
In the website of Intel, there is a very long list of mobo that is not "compatible" with Windows 7. Of course, my mobo (Intel DP965LT) is on the list.

I think I really gonna have to change my mobo. And I don't really know who's the blamed after all...

Interesting...

Just recently I bumped into the same problem.

I've been running windows 7 x64 for a few weeks now with 6 GB RAM enabled. Before that I used Vista x64 for over a year, also recognizing the full 6 GB if memory remapping was enabled.

Recently I found my pc not booting anymore. The win 7 logo appears and when the loading bar should appear my pc hangs. Even reset isn't possible at that point. Restoring default BIOS (with mem remap disabled) fixes this problem, but then win 7 says: 6 GB Ram found (only 3 GB usable)...

I'll guess I'll email both Asus and MS and ask what is going on here. The odd thing is that it DID work last week :S

Also my BIOS has a special setting that needs to be enabled if you are running Vista, would this also apply for 7?
