Hi all

I have two 8G sticks of DDR4 3200 and two 8G sticks of DDR4 3000 in on my Asus Prime Pro X470 board. I have DOCP enable and set the memory speed in AI Tweaker to 3200.
The system was stable for a few weeks, in that it would boot fine. But now, the system sometimes won't boot or goes into a Windows Recovery mode. Sometimes it will boot into a BIOS Recovery mode. If I reboot the system and/or go into BIOS and then exit and restart, the system starts up okay.

I've disabled DOCP and the RAM runs at 2133 by default, if I set AI Tweaker settings to AUTO.

So, how do I get the RAM to run at 3200MHZ? Should the 3000 MHZ RAM be able to o/c to 3200?

Thanks

What ram speed do you get if you take ai tweaker out of the mix and just use docp?

If I disable DOCP in AI Tweaker, the setting on the main BIOS page for DOCP is disabled. I get 2666mhz for A1/B1 and 2133 for A2/B2. In GPUZ Mem Tab the frequency is 1064.5. Windows 11 Performance Monitor shows 2133Mhz for all four sticks

Anytime you mix ram it's a coin flip what the results will be.

Start with just the 2 3200 sticks in a2+b2.
Enable docp and see what speed you get and if the machine is stable.

I removed the two 3000Mhz sticks and the system is stable with the two 3200mhz sticks installed.
I have had the other two sticks installed for about a year and had them oc'd to 3200 mhz but it has been recent that the system became unstable, so I guess the two sticks just couldn't stay oc'd much longer.

Well, I'd rather have a stable 16G 3200Mhz than 32Mhz 2133.

Thanks
