Hi

I want to upgrade my memory!

My motherboard Foxconn NF3250K8AA-ERS, only supports single channel memory, with 3 slots and 3GB Max.

I currently have 512MB installed in 1 slot. I want to get as much and the best memory as possible, and in the right configuration. Or does this not matter with single channel?

Upgrade is mainly for games (e.g. WOW).

AMD 3400 64
Foxconn NF3250K8AA-ERS
512MB DRR 400Mhz PC3200
ASUS N6800 512MB
Audigy 2
Samsung 160GB Hard Disk
Windows XP PRO

Any help would be great, Thx

Your best price to performance increase would be to get one, one gig stick. Put it in the first slot and move the 512 to the second slot.
Try to get the same brand and timings as your existing stick.
Anything over an additional gig would be a waste of money for the very small, if any, performance increase you might get.
