Depends on what processor you have and what kind of activities you are doing on your computer.
Gaming/editing etc.
16gb of 300MHZ or 3200MHZ for ryzen processor for gaming is more than enough.
And if you decided to buy another 16gig sticks, sell all of them and buy an entire kit of 4x8 else its not 100% going to work.

I have an i7-6700k and I use this PC for gaming. I have not purchased anything yet; so you are saying if I were to buy 2 more 8gb sticks of my current ram it won't work properly? If so, then I will just get 3200 memory.

So now would it be better to buy 16gb or 32gb of 3200 memory, I would assume only 16 is necessary since I really never cap out my current 16? All I do is gaming and reddit browsing.
