Heya really would appreciate more ideas here, as I've already spent 3 hours last night with no luck.

My pc specs are
Asus motherboard forgot full name
Rtx 3080
I7-8700k

I know for sure the computer components are quite okay, and that there's no power supply issue since it's worked fine for a year.
The issue started after I was setting up my Meta quest 2 vr last night.
Upon downloading and Virtual desktop and finally gettig it all set up. I launched Virtual desktop on my quest2, however i noticed after I tried launching beat Saber. That nothing was happening. Upon taking off my headset, i noticed the monitor has lost signal to my computer now.

From this point on, everytime I restart he computer. It gets to the manufactures logo, and then the windows logo where the circle spins. But instantly loses signal again once it finishes spinning

The other crazy thing is, even if I leave it on. My cox does not detect the pc on internet. However during my 3 hour troubleshooting, I realized at some point it had actually connected to the internet. I don't know if this is a correlation or not but just extra info that might be important.

Could really use some more advice

I've attempted the safe mode idea, by shutting it off at the windows logo 3 times or so, but never started up in safe mode. Cpu temp us 34c in bios
I will have to wait to get home to check motherboard model, but brand is Asus rog

Did you try reinstalling the graphics drivers? I would try that, with a clean installation. It seems to me that when you are attempting to play VR, something is getting confused between what display should actually be active.

I can't seem to get into safe mode, and I couldn't find a way to do that in bios I believe

psu is the power supply not motherboard
what the storage? how full is the ssd?
Just got home on lunch break, psu is corsair RM850X plus 80
Motherboard if it helps for configurations or keybinds, Asus Rog Strix Z370- Egaming

SSDs are 970 Evo nvme m.2 samsung 500gb and a 1tb 970 Evo plus

I think you will have to boot in to Safe Mode since regular load of Windows leads to it selecting wrong display.
Assuming you're on Windows 10 :

Is F8 Safe Mode for Windows 10?

Now you can start Safe Mode using the F8 key

1) Ensure your computer is turned off. 2) Turn your computer on. 3) Before anything appears on your screen, press F8 repeatedly until the Boot Options menu below displays. Then select Safe Mode.

I've tried the F8 idea, upon booting and it only brings up this screen

Try selecting your boot drive (500 GB) and see where it leads you. If no luck, choose 'setup'
I tried the boot drive 500gb, it gets the windows logo, spins and then when it's done. Loses display signal again. I will try enter setup when I get home. But I'm pretty sure it just takes me to my bios cause I've tried it before
