Metro 2033 lag

Looking for a bit of help. I have metro 2033, redux last light all from steam and all of them lag like hell. My system
Cpu fx 9590 stock 4.7ghz
32gb hyper X 1866mhz ram
2 X GTX 970 sli
Corsair 850 psu
Asus crossair v formula z mb
Samsung Evo pro SSD
3, 2TB Sshd
Running Windows 64bit pro.

Every other game runs perfect 60fps even latest title games.

My old system
Amd 440 3 core 3.0ghz cpu
4 gb 800mhz ddr2 ram 3.5 usable
GTX 660
Icute 500watt psu
Windows 32bit home
Maxtor 128gb HDD

Metro runs perfect on my old system but not on my new which is strange as it 100x more powerful. I've tried everything, updated all my drivers, turned off cpu cores, turned on triple buffering, searched the web for anything and tried everything. I just don't get why the rest of my 80+ games run perfectly but metro doesn't.
I get 60fps but every few seconds I get a quick drop to around ten then back to 60. Which is irritating and makes the game unplayable.

Have you checked the setting that is force alternative frame setting 2? I know they put it in the game specifically to fix problems with SLI. Speaking of which, could you try running it on a single graphics card and see if it lags? I'm fairly certain you are having a problem with SLI and micr0stuttering which is fairly normal in a lot of titles.

I tried this and same result. I had this issue with fallout 3 but it was due to multi core, switching to 2 cores solved the issue but I've tried that with metro 2,4 and 6 cores.

An update on the game. I have dual boot with Windows 10 so I thought I'd try it and perfect how I don't know but it worked.
