I have a Wii U with a digital copy of the Metroid Prime trilogy on a flash drive, is there a way to use that on my PC because ROMs are illegal. I would really prefer to play it on my PC because my couch is too far from my TV the Wii remote does not work well at that distance and I would prefer mouse and keyboard anyway. Please help! Also, I've heard emulators are legal, just not ROMs. Is that true?

You can get cemu and try out how well it runs.
Yes emulators are legal and you can legally run your legally owned games on them.

Can I just put the flash drive from my Wii U directly into my computer and run it from there?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I would prefer not to homebrew my Wii.
